Just a 5 minute poem

Picture from - http://www.fjelltours.nl/Dias/IMG_4214w.JPG

A poem I wrote for a friend to show that poetry can be thought of so easily.

Sky littered with jewels, pressed up a black wall,
Skin, cold, on the water sprayed grass.

A fire is lit against the branded twigs found lonely,
As I watch the moon's face fly on high.

The flames lick these coarse pieces of wood,
Found stranded, far from home.

But now they come to warm embrace,
Be at peace, lonely souls.

~ Poem By Symon Taylor.

"Poetry is painting a mental image for the soul."
